Mohinga is Burmese catfish chowder, specifically rice vermicelli in fish soup with banana stems, sprinkled with fried split peas, chilli flakes, coriander and a squeeze of lime. It's the favourite all-day breakfast of Burma and considered the national dish. I have to admit, I only eat this in Burma. It's never quite right anywhere else.
